I am thinking of increasing the amount of RAM in my PC as i am working with a lot more graphics these days.

I would like to know how I can figure out what is the maximum RAM that can be accommodated asd i do not want to overbuy and have redundant RAM modules

I ahve 2 RAM slots on my MOBO and i am using DDR2 533 RAM

PS I am from India

Could you let me know your motherboard model number ? -OR- Check the maximum amount of memory your system supports from the manufacturer's site and then the total number of slots. Divide the max memory with the number of slots you will get the max per slot limit. So based on these you can find the right memory.

Memory speeds: DDR2-533MHz, DDR2-667MHz, DDR2-800MHz all should work.

Try http://www.crucial.com/ or http://www.memorystock.com/ to identify the right memory. Both these sites have their own system scanner which will assist you in getting the right memory.

You can order the memory either through eBay, Amazon or maybe Flipkart. Good luck!!
