Hi,

I have:

- Intel Celeron G1610
- PSU - 400W
- 2x4GB DDR3 1600Mhz
- Asrock H61M-DGS

¿what GPU i need for this? for playing mkv, mp4, 1080p, blu-ray, 3D... ¿is enough with Radeon HD 5450 (with passive cooler)?

Thank you very much

i'd save for the 6670 or 20 bucks more for the 7750 it'll be a lovely match for you G1610 as i shall find out myself i could play Black ops II in lowest settings 35+ fps but for just movies a HD6450 will do you just fine should play movies in 1080p the hd6450 will play some games in 800x600 resolution bere that in mind. thanks

yeah the 5450 is fine but i think a 6670 would serve you better.

why do you think 6670 will serve better please? i want to not waste a lot of money on GPU, but if 6670 is a lot of better i will purchase it

well actually the 6670 is double the price of the 5450 but really for your needs it won't give you double the performance. if you wan't to game occasionally or watch a lot of 3d bluray movies get the 6670 but as you pointed out you don't want to waste your money so if this is a movies only rig then you should go with the 5450.

but 5450 will be enough to play large mkv's and 3D? i have readed that 5450 do not have support to 3D films, but 6XXX yes... i am not sure. I will not play, perhaps emulators (mame) but no PC games.
