Yes, RipjawsX are a great memory set. Try getting a CL7 or CL8 module and it should work. Also if you are not overclocking then advanced memory is not a necessity for gaming you can go with normal memory (ValueRAM) like the ones below:

im only overclocking the cpu and gpu

Can go either way, you get what you pay for, GSkill has among the best sticks out there and at (generally) affordable prices compared to may others
