Instructions provided by
Dell in their community have recommended manual installation of the components of the driver package from the latest driver. The latest driver I was able to find is
v6.3.0.6200, A01, which can be found here. The driver verified by the user in the Dell community to have worked is
v6.2.1.1100, A00, which can be found here. The steps recommended to achieve a working installation were:
Allow the self-extractor to place files in C:\Dell\Drivers\R273948.
Open C:\Dell\Drivers\R273948\Win64.
Right click Inst.exe and run as Administrator.
Follow the prompts to complete installation.
Check for Bluetooth functionality and driver installation.
If the above steps fail, they also recommend running Setup.exe in
compatibility mode.
Open C:\Dell\Drivers\R273948\Win64.
Right click Setup.exe and select Properties.
On the Compatibility tab, under Compatibility mode select Windows 7.
Select OK then run Setup.exe, follow the prompts and confirm Bluetooth functionality and driver installation.
The above steps apply to v6.2.1.1100 A00, for v6.3.0.6200 A01 replace R273948 with R283190.
This should also answer the
