please help internet problem

i have a laptop connected to the modem with a cable and my sister has a tablet connected wirelessy, the problem is over 1000 ping in games (any game). i tested it on several pc's and laptop's and the same thing again. she only watches videos and doesnt download anything just like me, the only app thats running is my google and her google. the problem is since the day i got internet and i dont think the tablet is the problem, because a laptop wirelessly connected and my laptop connected with a cable it still laggs and over 1000 ping in games, whats the problem? modem?

i have 50 ping in france 70 in germany 4mbps download and 0.5mbps upload speed but when i go to any server including in my city i always get 1000+ in games... from the day i signed to internet the problem occurs but when i am the only one connected to the internet i have 20ms ping in games

I was trying to be funny but probbly got lost in the translation. I live in Florida and please forgive me for making a joke concerning your situation. In Florida DSL has a bad reputaion in my area due to lightning, DSLAM locations and rainfall... I certainly would hope that you have better luck than where I am located.
