so well the title says what card is the best. But ust to say this is for an intel core 2 duo e8500 STOCK atm (will go to 4ghz in when i get my hyper 212) that has an hd 4870. this pc is 170€ and i'm gonna get it but the hd 4870 won't do it for me so i went looking on our local second hand site and i found a gtx 460 for 45€, and hd 5850 for 65€ and a gtx 460 ftw for 65€. now is the question witch is the better deal?

system specs:
650 watt antec earthwatts psu
4 gb ddr2 1066mhz
core 2 duo e 8500
asus p5q procmotherboard
Case: Antec Performance Plus PlusView II Black Steel
and the hd 4870

also the hd 4870 will go in my parents pc that has 4gb of ddr3 1333mhz ram and an athlon II x4 640 and a hd 6450

thanks for the help

GTX460 v HD5850 = HD5850 wins on most things.

Depending on model, GPU and shaders are up 20-25%, memory up 11%, so should break about even with HD5850.

If its an EVGA GTX460 FTW, I would get that one.
