it shouldnt. just make sure you have the latest BIOS for your board so your board can run it.

I have been running this for about 6 months now. However it leaves much to be desired. Swtor runs super choppy. Sometimes my cpu useage is around 90-100% while streaming. Even when not streaming myfps are choppy and fluctuate badly.

Just changed out mb and cpu to an Intel i7 4770k and the difference is night and day. No stutters. +20 fps over what I was getting. And only about 60% cpu useage. I was just wondering if it wad the older mb that was causing that. Bios was updated. The only other thing I did was bought another such of ram to give me 16 gb dual channel. Is amd that far behind? I've been an amd fanboi for many years

maybe, swtor doesnt like amd cpu's. that and current intel cpus right now are really good at gaming. it seems really weird that your cpu usage would be that high.

I thought so too. My wife's fx 6300 runs the game better than the 8350 abs she has less ram. But she does have the 990fx board.

hmmm, maybe the new vishera cpus are too new for the chipset. but still, they should be running fine.

The FX 8350 is not a supported processor for that motherboard. It is not surprising that it doesn't run correctly.
