what is written on my ASUS GTX 650 TI OC box that it requires a minimum 12v and 38A. So i would like to know will it work if my power supply is a 36A

thank you

yes I will work. Most likely it is a typo, since a gtx 770 requires 42A.

your ASUS 650ti OC has a tdp of 140W which when divided by 12v, gives about 12A
but the 770 has a tdp of 230W which when divided by 12v, gives about 20A, therefore, since I know as a fact the 770 needs 42A, and the 650Ti requires 8A less then it, it should require 34A at MOST.

Also it doesn't make sense to recommend a 400W psu with 38A since NO 400W psu ever invented will have anywhere near 38A.

Yes it should work with your psu, but if you can I would upgrade your psu just so your not putting too much strain on your psu. Its never good to run your psu at near 100% capacity.

and If you don't believe me that it could be a typo on their box, and it in fact requires 38A, it will NOT work with your PSU since your psu can only deliver 36A.
