So I have two hypothetical builds saved for an Alienware Aurora and a Falcon Northwest Talon. I was wondering which of the two was better oriented towards pc gaming.
Talon:

Chassis
Z87 Talon - Standard Black
Chassis Fan Kit
Performance Fan Pack - Talon
Power Supply
SilverStone® 750 Watt Modular
Motherboard
Asus® Z87 Plus
Processor
Intel® Core™ i7 4770K 3.5GHz
Processor Cooler
Intel® HeatSink/Fan
Processor Overclock
No Processor Overclock
Memory
1866MHz 4x8GB (32GB)
Video Card
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX TITAN 6GB

Aurora:
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 690 4GB GDDR5
3TB 7200 RPM SATA 3Gb/s
32GB (4 X 8GB) Quad Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz
2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3930K processor (12M Cache, Overclocked up to 4.1 GHz)

Solution
Neither, they are both going to be over-priced against building yourself.

32GB RAM for gaming systems? Not needed AT ALL. No game will come close to using that but instead of giving you 8GB of RAM, they give 32GB and probably charge 3x what the extra 16GB that you don't need is worth.

The titan card in the one system is pointless now that the 700 series is out from Nvidia as they run with 10% of the cards for like 50% of the price.

the 3930K in the Alienware system is pointless for gaming. You don't need a 6 core/12 thread $1000 cpu.

whats your budget. Bet you could do twice the system of those for the same price or a comparable system for half the price.
Get the talon. you are throwing TONS of money away with either by not building yourself. Stay FAR away from alienware.

8gb RAM is ALL that is needed for gaming. 32gb is plain stupidity. Get an i5 not an i7. The i7 will have no benefits in gaming at all over the i5.
