Possible Motherboard issues?

I've had some minor problems with my computer for the past while until recently. If I would be inactive on my computer for anywhere from 10 minutes to 6 hours, it would occasionally just freeze. Now, twice per week on average my computer would freeze on the BIOS screen or it would report a disk boot failure. To solve this issue I would unplug my PC and take out the CMOS battery and put it back and it would load fine. Now, after doing this my computer just stays frozen at the BIOS or loading operating system.

Specs:
i7-2600k (no overclock)
gtx 560 ti 448 cores
16 GB DDR3 1333 mhz RAM
p67a-ud3-b3 mobo
1 TB hard drive
128 gb ssd
600W psu

Is it a motherboard issue? If not, what is the problem? Any help is appreciated! Thanks

So what's the situation now, can you get into windows or it just freezes on BIOS or loading screen ? Did you get the beep sound prior to freezing issue ? You can try a new CMOS battery. The symptoms you are talking about lead me to think either MB or PSU or GPU is faulty. To narrow down the search you could borrow a PSU from someone to test. As your MB has no onboard video so there is no way to test it, except the beep sound. And also if you can, try a GPU from someone else. I repeat again try to remember if you ever heard the beep sound near past. BTW do you have the MB speakers installed on MB ?

There is no beep noise when it starts. My power supply is a corsair gs600.
