Hi, well I have ordered everything for my build and all that is left is the GPU, right now I have picked the direct cu ii gtx 780 for £545 but was wondering if it was worth saving £40 and just picking up a stock Gigabyte GTX 780

what do you think?

My Build:

Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard
CPU: Intel 3rd Generation Core i5-3570K CPU
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo
GPU: ASUS GTX780-3GD5
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Kit
HDD: Seagate 1TB Barracuda Internal Hard Drive - OEM
SSD: Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5 inch SATA Solid State Drive
PSU: Corsair Gaming Series 2013 Edition GS 700W ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit
Optical Drive: Liteon Ihas124 24x Dvd±rw
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64bit
Case: Coolermaster Storm Trooper Case

Thank You :)

Well the ACX is out of the question due to low availability and much higher price

and is there any particular reason for the MSI over ASUS

Two reasons, higher factory overclock, more effective cooler. The gaming Twin Frozr 4 cools better than the new DCUII, also the MSI card will handle higher OCs better.

You forgot to mention how sexy the new MSI coolers are :)

I wish I could agree, but not all websites say so, the majority don't at least, and I've tested it, since I do a lot build, I like to benchmark them first, and it has let me down many times, nonetheless, the Asus and MSI version are both excellent.
