So, this my problem. I think I have a virus on my computer, and I haven't been able to get rid of it at all.

Everytime I scan my computer, I get at least 100-3000 infected files. I've done numerous scans on malwarbites as well. Nothing seems to be doing the trick.

I am not sure what's causing it. My symptoms have been random blue screens every now and then, but they are not frequent by any means. I do not notice any performance issues with my computer. I've had it for almost 5 years, and it's been running steadily ever since I built it.

I'm not sure whether to be worried about this or to just shrug it off..
But I really don't like the feeling of having a virus popping up on my avast! scans all the time.

Anybody have any good suggestions on software that will kill this thing? I read the sticky on this forum, tried it and this stuff still keeps popping up.

Worst case scenario is that I do a fresh install, but I'm trying to avoid that since I have a lot of games and data that I want saved..

Thanks guys.
