Is it worth upgrading a 2008 computer

AMD phenom 9950 black edition
6gb ram DDR2 1066
M3N-HD/HDMI Motherboard
1tb hard drive

Newer parts: GeForce GTX 560ti, Corsair CX750 Builder Series ATX 80 PLUS Bronze, 840pro ssd

Upgrading it for what? if you're just doing general computing...no. If for gaming, you've got a good base, just need a newer motherboard/cpu before you move on to the graphics card, i'd say worth it in that case...it won't really be a 2008 at that point though, since you'll have to get DDR3 ram along with it, it'd run like a new machine at that point.
