half screen boot

new asus m5a99fx pro r2.0
new xfx r7870 dd
new fx6350, on boot only half the asus screen shows, unable to see all bios setting, when full boot it goes full screen and works perfect

Do you have a different GPU cable and/or GPU you can try to see if either is the problem? Might also try flashin g the latest version of the BIOS

Apology for re entering a old thread, went back to old xfx 6870 and worked perfect, for xmas bought a sapphire 7870, exact same problem, returned and fitted replacement, same again, am i missing something ? connected using hdmi to 42" panasonic full hd tv
