Recently my computer crashed. Was forced to reinstall Windows 7

One of my purchased programs I am attempting to re-activate will not activate because the System ID has changed. I have sent them a support request but have not had a response. The program was purchased for lifetime use.

The computer is built by me and not prebuilt purchased. Let me know if you need any info about computer.

Is there anyway to activate the program with the new System ID?

Can the System ID be changed back to previous ID which I have?

This question is pointless, you have no information about the software that is the problem and you have already contacted the best people to resolve the issue with (the company that developed the software) i suggest you wait for their response or try contacting them again, or use Google to search the entire web for a answer from someone else that probably doesn't use Tom's.

Also this isn't really a Windows 7 issue.

Sorry for posting in the wrong area. It is a problem I have never had. I have contacted the software company two weeks ago for that matter. I have Googled the problem with no results. I was hoping there might be a software developer here that might point me in the correct direction. I have sent the software developer ten emails so far. I will post in different section. Thanks for your help. And you were pointless in your remarks.
