Today my motherboard arrived the box it was shipped in was fine normal brown box.

My question is to all owners of that own the board or have experience with the same board is. There was no cellophane around the box that the motherboard was in. I just flipped open the box from the bottom and that was is. No special round sticker over the box to make sure it wasn't open. No cellophane around the entire motherboard box. To me the board does not looked used but is this how this motherboard is packed or no? Anyone ever see this on any other Asus boards? Just thinking that there should have been some cellophane around the box itself? Thanks

Do you mean padding inside of the shipping container? If so, that's not really "normal" but it's not absolutely necessary for such a product. They may have decided to simply skip it because there's already sufficient spacing inside inside of the box. Packing material prevents fragile components from getting knocked around; motherboards are not fragile to that extent and they're well...

I don't own this board but you should immediately check an unboxing on youtube, and if you can't find that, a review on some page like techpowerup or guru3D, these kinds of pages always show the box of the mobo and the packaging.

It shouldn't have come in a brown box, it should have come in a red box that looks like the one in this picture

The box will not be celophane wrapped but it should have plastic securing the top and bottom flaps.

If your motherboard came in any other packaging it may be either an OEM version meant for system builders (rather than retail) or a refurbished model meant for replacement. Where did you order it from?

I ordered it from here http://www.superbiiz.com/

No it was shipped in a normal brown box like a shipping box. The motherboard was in it's normall box the one shown in the link you have..........here http://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_VI_HERO/
I just found it odd that there was no cellophane around the red main box. Is that normal?

Actually it did seem rather underpacked on the inside of the box compared to ASUS ROG boards I have gotten before, but this one was $100 cheaper then the last one I got. They assume that it will be shipped inside of another box. If it was it probably hasn't been used.

Packing material prevents fragile components from getting knocked around; motherboards are not fragile to that extent and they're well secured in their own plastic trays. Packaging material can prevent a fragile product from breaking through regular handling but it will not prevent any product from being crushed if the courier decides to drop a washing machine on it. If the red box is not visibly damaged then there's nothing to be worried about.
