p8z68-v/gen3 board
i5 2500k cpu
g skill cas 8 1600 2 x 4gb
no video card yet


Red CPU light, Red looking power light at bottom of board
I have reseated ram
I have removed heatsink and apllied new artic grease
I have loosened the mobo screws

could this be a compatibility issue>
Bios update issue?

OK heres the deal I was idiot, forgot cpu cord, now It seems like when i reboot sometimes the RAM light comes on, and stays on, then if I reboot again it will go off and load the bios etc...... like I just installed windows and when windows install needed to reboot now I got red ram light, but if I reboot again manually light goes off?
