HDD + SSD Hybrid - Clean Windows install on hdd

Last response: in Windows 8

I have a Lenovo s300 laptop and it came with 500 GB HDD and 24 SSD for caching.

Now, the problem is when i try to install a clean Windows 8 on HDD. Install goes well, but it takes 350 MB as "System Reserved Patition" from the SSD and not HDD. In turn, when it does that i can't use SSD for caching. When i setup cache with Intel Rapid Storage, it kills the 350 MB partition and Windows is dead.

Is there any solution for this?

Thank you.

unplug the SSD while you install windows. After the install, plug the SSD in and setup intel rapid storage.

Well there are two problems with that.

1. If I open my laptop i will loose warranty (and with Lenovo, apparently, i really need it).
2. SSD is kinda hooked up to the HDD as i could see from the "taking apart video".

Is there any workaround for that?
