I recently had to RMA my GPU. The GTX 670 FTW seems to work except for 1 issue. The DVI i port will not display video. The DVI d port works fine; as does the hdmi port.

I have installed the latest drivers from nvidia. The thing that i find most weird is that nvidia control panel detects whatever monitor I put into the DVI i port. The monitor however says it is receiving no signal.

The DVi-I carries both analog & digital signal, while the DVI-D carries only digital. I assume you're using a digital display. So why the need to use DVI-I? Are you trying to use dual display? If so the card may just not support it. Hope this helps you some, best of luck.

I am trying to run two monitors. Sorry i forgot to mention that. I read online that some people have 3 monitors set up on this gpu. So I do not think its a support issue either. Just to be clear though, shouldn't the DVI i port work for my DVI d monitor?

update 1: I managed to get both monitors working by using the HDMI port and the DVI d port. I am still concerned that the DVI i port doesn't work though. Another thing that bothers me is that only one of the monitors works in the DVI d port.

I have read somewhere that the DVI-I & DVI-D ports on some cards won't support dual monitors. Maybe find some info on your card to see if this is the case. Thanks
