A6 4400M to A8 6600K?

I'm new at building computers and upgrading. I was just curious if it's possible to upgrade a CPU from an A6 4400M to an A8 6600K. If it's not possible, why not and what might you suggest for upgrading my processor? Both of them are part of the A Series and they both have Accelerated Graphics.

Yeah it's possible. Though the performance gains you see won't be that much. Upgrade to an A10 or just change your motherboard + processor to an Intel

I'm upgrading from 2.7GHz to 3.9GHz and those are both base level. They're also both Accelerated Processing (Integrated Graphics). Does that still not make a difference?
