I have just got a GTX 660 recently, but whenever I play Youtube video in full screen, and not touch(just watching the video idling anything for around 1-2 minutes, the video would begin to frame lag until I move my cursor around or press a key, with a GPU monitor I could see that the temperature also rises to around 60C.

It also did the same thing during windows lock screen when I left the pc on, and also during a full screen game where I purposely didn't do anything to see if that happens.

I am using Windows 8 and have the latest Nvidia 320.49 driver installed.

Here is the GPU-Z screenshot: http://imgur.com/uxhETSd&T5eThHT
The peaks were when the problem occured.

Edit:
Windows 8
EVGA GTX 660 GPU clock@1046, Memory@1052, Boost@1111
i5 3470 @3.20 GHz
Asus P8Z77-M
Cooler Master Extreme 2 625W PSU
Corsair Vengeance @1866 2x4Gb RAM

Please post your full system specs. In the meanwhile you can downgrade the driver(rollback), see if it helps. I heard there are some bugs in the latest driver.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. I've tried downgrading the driver to 320.18 but the same problem still exists. I have posted my system specs at the top.

So it could be the GPU or PSU is faulty.
