So i just bought a new hardrive to just start from scratch, i installed drivers and Windows 7, and League of legends. Now all of the sudden i hear a sort of scratching noise randomly, and i start up a game of league of legends and im in for approx 3 seconds, and the monitor loses signal, and i hear that scratching noise suddenly, then it stops. i have tried re seeding it, and cleaning all the fans in my computer, and reinstalling the drivers. Ive had this computer for almost 2 years, custom built, and never had this problem. i can watch youtube videos, but not play League. i havent yet to try any other games tho. if you have any help, please comment.

My video card is a Gigabyte 560 ti

You may have a overheating problem. Check your temperatures with SpeedFan. If those are ok look at your cpu heatsink, it might be unplaced or even moving (due to the expansion caused by heat and not being tight enough), tighten that up. If that is ok, your new hdd might have an electrical fail somewhere, nothing to do about that.
