How long do you think it will last and do you think the gtx 760 will last a long time

I think about 3 years cause that is when you should update your parts.

700 series isn't much better than 600 series at all, so 2 years tops if you want to play games at max. With new consoles coming out games will be more demanding.

That would obviously depend on what kind of games you play and what graphics settings you insist on playing them with. It wont be able to max out the most demanding games two years from now or even next year, but it will max out most and run the rest at pretty high details for 2-3 years.

If you're willing to cut back on AA and play with medium-high details, it should easily last you 3-4 years. 760 a bit shorter, but it too should run any game you throw at it at low settings 3-4 years from now.

Of course, if you get a single 760 now you could upgrade to SLI later. Dual 760s will easily last for that 3-4 years playing all games on high details.
