[What would you do?] Currently have GTX 660Ti with a $700 budget for upgrade.

So you have the build below, how would you use your $700 dollar budget for upgrading the GPU?

Quick PC Specs:
Corsair Carbide Air 540 Case
Asus Z87 Sabertooth
Intel I7-4770K
Corsair H60 kit
EVGA GTX 660Ti SC 3Gb
Corsair Vengeance PRO 8Gb 2133mhz
Corsair HX650 (can be upgraded for SLI if need be)

(Currently have a buyer for GTX 660Ti at just under $200 - selling it is an option)

Conditions:
- Only consider NVIDIA GPU's
- Keeping in mind the potential of upgrading to upcoming Maxwell cards. More $ saved, better chance at upgrading.
-Planning to use 1080p resolution @120hz (MP games; BF3, BF4, Crysis 3, MOH, etc.) and Stereoscopic 3D gaming preferably at max settings (SP games).

I have an EVGA GTX 780 SC edition. Overall I think that the 780 is more futureproof and you can overclock past Titan performance (i can do more than 1224 MHz on core...pretty awesome). SLI always has its issues and it requires more power. Microstuttering and variable scaling with 2 cards to name a couple issues. Also, dual 760 will definitely require more than 650 watts to be safe (and if you want to OC). As the 780 goes down in price you can always add another for insane performance later on, especially when SLI becomes a bit better.

If you do go with the 780, which is what I recommend, I would go for the EVGA 780 SC edition. The ACX cooler barely performs any better and is a bit louder. Also, it pushes heat into your case whereas the...

Thanx for the reply, this was my initial plan. But I started contemplating a 760 SLI build considering I could get the parts for more than $150 less at better performance than 780 with the games I mostly play. Heat, power consumption, and noise aren't a big concern but being aware of the potential increase in performance with maxwell/volta makes me think twice about doubling down on the best kepler's got to offer right now not to mention that I feel like the 780 is being sold at a premium. What do you think?

Also, it pushes heat into your case whereas the blower config on the stock cooler pushes it out the back. Since you are running Haswell, which is super hot compared to ivy/sandy, ambient temperatures in the case make all the difference for overclocking. The very little difference in the factory OC between the two is not worth the price as you can overclock much higher. The stock cooler on this thing not only looks amazing but performs surprisingly well. Saves you 10 bucks to boot :p.
