I have a strange issue. My PC suddenly drops power and resumes again immediately for no reason. This has been going on for months and the time interval between failures varies from a couple of minutes to 10 days. Sometimes there are multiple occurrences in one day, and it doesn't matter whether the PC is idle and unattended or I'm using it.
I have an Asus Sabretooth X58 mobo, an i7 950 CPU, 12Gb RAM, and a Sapphire Vapor-X, HD 5850 Radeon graphics card. The PSU is 750W.
There are no indications of overheating and there's no dust inside the case, and the problem occurs whether I'm on the UPS or not.
Has anyone had this problem before, and if so, were you able to isolate the cause?
