So i finally get my computer to boot, downloaded all the drivers to everything but when I go into install em it tells me that my MSI gtx 760 2gb TF oc edition isn't recognized, what could my problem be? I have tried DL'ing driver updates from both the disc and the internet to no avail, both say the same thing... Motherboard is an MSI z77a-GD65 if anyone asks...

Ok, I finally got it to update, how do I select the GPU and not integrated graphics on this?

It still isn't showing up, what is most likely the problem, it won't even allow me to install the drivers from msi because it says something along the lines of "hardware not detected". Fan's are spinning just fine and i'm fairly certain it is seated as good as it can be..

Try your gpu in other motherboards. See if gpu is faulty, or mobo.

Can't, only have the one mobo, I'm gonna try re-seating it to see if that helps..

And just a side note, try HDMI, it does`t have nothing to do with the mobo testing itself. But try. :)

Re-seating didn't help at all, HDMI wouldn't work because the computer isn't even registering my card...

Nothing I do seems to help it, what could the problem be PC gods? Bad card, bad slot, software problem?

It is most probable a user error though...

Do you have the PEGs plugged into the gpu?

You'll have to elaborate, I'm not sure what you mean by pegs..

Pegs are the auxilliary power connectors (6pin or 8pin) that are connected to higher power gpus. Your 760 requires 2 6pin aux connectors.

Yea, all of that is plugged in and fine, the fans are even spinning on it, the only problem is that my computer isn't recognizing it at all.. I don't know for sure if i should RMA it immediately or keep trying to fix it somehow, it just seems like a software/user error.. I'm thinking that it isn't "fried" because of the fact the fans are running on it or can the fancy parts be fried and still allow the fans to work perfectly?
