Hi world...

i got dilemma...I want to purchase 27" 1080p monitor for all-round using, but I like to play games too (sometimes little much) - to this day I was using (Samsung BX2231 - TN) and I think, that it is time to go for this old man...

I know, that best case with 27" is goin to 2560x**** res, but I have a distance and don't want to make my GPU die. :)

So:
- at first I want IPS, or what should be better PLS
- budget - +-300€ - ok there should be a problem, but if you are from USA for example it should be 350$ - but please, just I don't want to spend 500$ for monitor
- lowest possible input lag - fast response time (sure, if it is possible)

There are (just now) two candidates:
ASUS MX279H - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
SAMSUNG S27C750PS - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-S27C750PS-Monitor-300cd...

maybe you will be suprised by that samsung - me too, not much informations out there, it is little better with a asus

or have you some other recommendations ?
All help counts. :)

i have a another question:
will be black so...you know...purplish ? because on this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=est1lLFMhDc that black looks exactly as on my old TN samsung - or maybe i understand, that camera should see it differently..

what about this review:
http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/3600/asus-mx279-review-...

in any test reviewer is comparing it to the LG IPS277L - as the monitor with same panel, and it really looks like lg is performing better, what is sayin nothing about I would go definitely to asus than to the lg

maybe other possible monitors:

sorry man, I said I want IPS/PLS panel, not TN panel :)

and about that distance...It doesn't matter much if you are sitting for example 1m (3 feet) from screen

yesterday I got an idea to buy Dell U2713HM, which shown his quality, but I wanted to buy GTX660 (as replace for my GTX275) to that 27" 1080p monitor, but with 1440p I need at least GTX760, but there is a problem, I have just older Core 2 Quad Q9550 overclocked to 3,8GHz, what should and I am sure it will decrease maximum GPU performance, what could affect my fps in the games at 1440p, but there is another thing...and that is called console gaming...next year, when Tom Clancy's Division will be released I am planning to by One/PS4, but what you think...will it looks adorable on 1440p ? Because it will be all about upscaling and in my opinion it will cause a problems :/

or in this case it should be better to stay with 1080p 27" monitor ?
