Dell UltraSharp U2312HM. Is it worth an upgrade?

I currently own an Acer V243H. I've had it for about 5 years now, and I recently decided that I may want to purchase a Dell UltraSharp U2312HM. Question is - Will this purchase be worth it? Will I see a noticeable difference in performance? I realize I would be losing an inch, but that really doesn't matter to me. I mostly use the computer for gaming, and I've heard great things about the Dell.

The 2ms repsonse time on gaming monitors is made for FPS, plus it's only grey to grey and is only one half of the response time, real response times are 9ms for the 2ms labeled monitors and something like 20ms for 8ms monitors. In games like StarCraft or WoW, I'm guessing response time matters, but don't worry, this has an incredibly low input lag which will allow for very fast FPS scenes, the color the monitor brings is amazing, in fact one of the best looking displays, and there's a tiny bit of ghosting, but not enough to be noticeable. It's a good monitor and will meet your gamer needs. Cheers.

ASUS Geforce GTX770 is my current graphic card. Majority of games I play are MMO's - and the odd FPS. The only thing I am worried about when it comes to the Dell, is the response time. I've read lower the better (2ms or so), and the Dell has 8ms. Would this be a problem?

Thanks for the quick response! I think I am going to go with the Dell for sure. :)
