I have done some research and could not really find if windows 8 Pro OEM is not as good as win 8 pro. so I ask anyone with any info on the subject to tell me I there is something wrong with buying the OEM version, (and yes I do want win 8 pro it is not that bad it is almost the same as win 7 except for the start menu and a few other things.)

Solution
get the oem version since its cheaper, and the only difference, as someone mentioned is support from Microsoft (i.e. you can call them about issues with your windows and ask them to help you with doing stuff and using windows)

other than that, they are identical, you can even install oem windows 8 on any computer you own, as long as its only activated on 1 computer at a time.

I was told that both versions can only be installed on The first PC you install it on...but that was coming from the tech at the store, so he might have to say that. I really don't know, I hope you're right. I know that the first I bought back in feb came with Win7 home premium on it and came with the OS disk for refurbished computers and the tech at that store said those copies can only be installed on one PC and the PC had the product key sticker on it.

The licensing for Windows 8 has changed significantly from Windows 7.
Get the OEM...you'll be fine.
