My i5-3570k, and my asus gtx 670 have been idling 5°C hotter than normal recently. My cpu would idle around 28-30°C now it idles at around 33-35°C, and my gpu would idle at a constant 30°C and now it idles at 34°C. My ambient temperature has not changed and i haven't done anything to my case to cause this change. I have a corsair 500r with an extra intake fan at the bottom and exhaust in the rear top slot. Everything is at stock setting minus the voltage which i lowered using offset. My cpu cooler is an evo 212 with 1 fan on it.

Solution
There are to many variables, but as other's have said temps are good.
1) For every degree diff in F of ambient temp there is a 1-1.5 degree change in CPU temps.
2) we speak of ambient temp and generally most think that is the tmp at the thermostat (min is in a halway and about eye level) - That is only an approximation.
.. For most the case sits on the floor. Mine sits on a plexigalss plate as I have a rug.
.. There is a surprizing diff in various temp readings. My Thermosat may read 76 F, but at that same level in my room it often reads 80F (less than ten feet away) and it's summer tme - Winter about 72 F. Temps flucuate about +/- 2 F as a/c is cycled on/off.
.. Hot air rises, so at floor level the temp is often LESS than...

What software are you using to read the temps? I remember using "HWmonitor" and "speedfan" both gave me different results. Either way 5C isn't much to sweat over, you have very good temps (better than me and I am cooling with water)

I'm using coretemp but i've tried hwmonitor as well. I've tried dusting it with compressed air moved cables around. It just bothers me that my idle temps are higher than before for no apparent reason.

.. Hot air rises, so at floor level the temp is often LESS than thermostat reading. Measuring the air intake to the compute at floor level (Front fans) mytemp may be as much as 5 F cooler, also has greater flucuation as it is only approx five fett from A/C Vent.

.. Anoter factor is that over time and as programs are loaded the "idle" back ground programs resul in slightly higher CPU idle load.
