If there are no drivers for my m4a89gtd pro/usb 3 motherboard for Windows 8, and it shows as compatible, will it hamper my 6970 crossfire performance?

No drivers for what? The chipset? USB 3.0? None for Windows 8? (I'm assuming none for Windows 8, since there aren't any on the site)

Are you sure that the mobo is compatible with Windows 8? I don't see it anywhere on Asus's page for the mobo.

Thanks for your reply. However I am confused, because this site http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/win8/CompatCenter/ProductViewerWithDefaultFilters?TempOsid=win8&Locale=en-us&TextSearch=Asus%2BM4A89TD%2BPRO%252fUSB3&Type=Both&CurrentPage=0&TotalPages=1&ShowCriteria=0&SortCriteria=Relevance&Compatibility=Unknown&LastRequested=14 from windows says that it is compatible. I am really really confused :(.

Thanks for your reply bro. I already installed Windows 8 on my SSD, and everything is working so far. I didn't have to install any Windows 8 driver for my motherboard. Everything is working fine, and I just recently bought Start 8, which makes Windows 8 a faster Windows 7. Anyways, thanks for the help and suggestions :)
