I can't find the refresh rate for this monitor does anyone know why?

Technically LCD's don't have a refresh rate as they don't blank the screen, but the Vertical Frequency is what sets the man refresh rate the PC can send and in your case, its Fv: 50~75Hz

you can get a 1080p if you wanted at that price. but to each there own

For just over a $100 you can do better for a monitor. Resolution sucks on that one, it's small, VGA only.
