I have been planning this build for over four months now and after plenty of revisions it is almost time to purchase. As the title indicates, this is solely a gaming build so things like hyperthreading and extra RAM shouldn't be an issue.

Approximate Purchase Date: The last week in August

Budget Range: $1150 (excluding OS, separate purchase)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

Are you buying a monitor: No

(Edit) Parts to Upgrade: All, however, I am not buying a KB or mouse

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.com

Location: It will be shipped out to Ogdensburg, NY

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I will be playing Max Payne 3, Far Cry 3, GTA IV, and BF4

Why Are You Upgrading: My current build is lagging behind very quickly

Here is the build:

I have opted out of an SSD as I don't feel it's a necessity. The 500R case is actually $100 due to a MIR. Are there any parts I could swap out? Is the 4GB model worth it? Is this a solid build?

Thanks in advance for any pointers or suggestions.

Great deals here. Just do the MIR dude, it's free money and only takes 5 mins.

I think this will give you the most performance for your money. Crossfire on 2 GPU should be fine, you'll get microstuttering if it's 3-4. 2 7950 will give you more performance than a titan!
