im having trouble getting my pc to start, and im sure everything is installed and plugged in correctly my specs are:
ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+ socket motherboard.
Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3 RAM
500w power supply

are you using the power button to turn it on? Make sure you connected the power switch cable to the right pins.

Your motherboard or power supply could be dead / not connected properly.
