As I am moving to an iCore Build, (read "New iCore System"), I am left with parts from some of my old builds.
I am looking to give some of these parts to my son and sell the rest.
He is currently running an XFX 780i with an E8400, 6GB 800Mhz, 2 BFG GTX 260s in SLI, with a 9600 GSO for PhysX. I am looking to upgrade his PC.
Giving him:
1. Q9650
2. eVGA 460GTX (2) for SLI or one 660 GTX (may bottleneck)
3. HAF 932
4. 8GB of 800Mhz RAM.
or better off with:
ASUS Rampage Extreme X48, Q9650 and dual 7770s in Crossfire?
Would this be some good upgrades for current games?
FC3, Metro Last Light, BioShock Infinite.
iCore system is .5 year down the road for him. He had the better system then me, 3 years ago, now it is my turn.
