Fx-8320 High temps

Hello there

I bought a new computer and the cpu gets really hot it hits 80c sometimes but often bouncing between 60-76c.

I got the artic cooler freezer xtreme rev 2.0 as cpu cooler.

Specs

Motherboard: Asus m5a99x evo r2.0
Cpu: amd fx-8320 at stock Clock
Ram: Corsair venegance 2*4gb
Gpu: xfx 7770 1gb
And 2 120 fans.

Dissable cool n quite from bios
If that doesnt work try resetting the heatsink

Ok i have disable cool n quiet now.
I will play some Saints row 3 and see what happens. Last time it did shutdown because to high cpu temp...

Well it dident help and i dont want to reset the CPU cooler because i dont know how to do it.

I dident build it. It was a company that built it.
If i remove it will i need new paste between the CPU and cooler?

How tight should the cpu sit?
Its pretty loose i can move it like 2cm on each side and lift it like 0,2cm...

The problem is that is like that the cpu cooler mounting clips is to big for the plastic thing..

the bulider of ur computer did not install it properly it should fit exactly

U dont need anything else than a screwdriver and its not that hard

Ok i got i loose now because it looks like its to big for th mount.
When i reattach it it still to loose. I wonder can you use a spacer ore something like that to get it stuck?

edit
Which of the 2 holes should i use the inner ore outher hole for the screws?

I wud suggest u to take the motherboard out and then unscrew it all and then reassemble it

I Think i have fixed it now. I dident chrash in win 8 performance classification.It did do that last time i did run it.

Idle is around 35c and it havent gone past 55c yet.
