Asus rampage 3 ext. 1600mhz+ ram >= 2200 mhz

I kind of forgot if I install ram ranging from 1866 to 2200 pref 2133mhz on asus rampage 3 ext it will be automatically reduced or will it be considered as oc'ed from clearing the cmos?

Clearing CMOS takes everything to it's default, for the DRAM prob 1333, simply go into BIOS, enable XMP and select Profile 1, that will set the DRAM to the correct spec freq and timings
