well the new psu should fit in the same holes, normally BTX power supplies are bigger (like fatter) so normal power supplies will hang a little bit because they are slimmer. and as for the back unless there are interferences with the location of the power plug or switch then it should screw in easily.

Hi White Coco4,
Did the new PSU work in the 745 ?

My PSU blew 2 days ago in my 745 tower and I would like a energy efficient PSU (I use it as my media server and it runs 24/7)
I thought the GX745 needed a 24 pin plus a 4 pin connectors on the power supply.
