Hi! I was looking to upgrade my psu. i have a lsp ultra 650w (which i know is garbage) that came with my rig. I was looking at goin to a 750w but i dont know what would be the most reliable and quality unit i could pick up. on a side note im not sure what the difference is between bronze , platinum, and gold 80+ ratings other than a gaurantee of quality? anyway, any good shove would be in the right direction.

For a system using a single GeForce GTX 660 (non-Ti) graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 450 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 24 Amps or greater and that has at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector.

For a system using two GeForce GTX 660 (non-Ti) graphics cards in 2-way SLI mode NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 600 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 36 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power...

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) rated at 45°C - 50°C ambient temperature, is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

The 80 PLUS certification levels are meant as a ranking of the power supply unit's AC to DC electrical conversion efficiency. It is not a garantee of quality.

There's a good deal on the Seasonic M12II 750 SS-750AM for $69.99 ($49.99 after $20.00 rebate).
