Hello,
I am looking to upgrade my pc and add in an SSD. The SSD will primarily hold my OS (WIN 7 ULT) and BF3 and soon to be replaced by BF4. I may also put a few programs on it that i use often aswell, but nothing else too major. My current specs are,
i7 3770k @ 4.0
asrock z77 extreme4
evga gtx 660 SC
24 gb 1600 mhz ram (16gb ripjawz x and 8gb gskill sniper)
OCZ ZT 750 watt PSU
WD Caviar Green 1TB HDD (will be used to store my other games and random stuff)

I was wondering what the best 120 - 128gb SSD would be at the moment. My budget is around $105 USD and then shipping can be added to that. The cheaper the better but i want to get something that has been reliable for others.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

I normally recommend Samsung because of their excellent performance and reliability. Crucial, Intel, and Plextor are also worth considering.

Currently newegg.com has the Samsung 840 SATA 3 6Gb/s ssd on sale for $99.99 and $1.99 shipping with promo code EMCXMXL44:

http://promotions.newegg.com/neemail/latest/index-landing.aspx

Scroll down to the $50.00 - $100.00 section to see the deal.

TigerDirect had them on sale for $79.99 but they sold out.

Logicbuy.com is a good site to check for daily sales from a variety of vendors:

I maintain the ssd database listed in a sticky at the very top of this forum section. Here is the link...
