I would recommend finding a ram kit from the qualified vendor list (linked in my original reply,) as thsiis an easier part to pick than a motherboard. If you like the motherboard you selected, why start that process over? For the most part, Ram is Ram.

8GB 1866 mhz certified ram by part number
Patriot PXD38G1866ELK(XMP) 8GB ( 2x 4GB )
Kingston KHX1866C9D3K2/8GX(XMP) 8GB ( 2x 4GB )
Crucial BLE4G3D1869DE1XT0.16FMD(XMP) ( 2x 4GB )
A-DATA AX3U1866GC4G9B(XMP) ( 2x 4GB )

Some people like the builder series, I prefer to step it up a notch to the GS series, or use seasonic though.

The memory kit you have selected is not on the qualified vendor list for the motherboard you selected. It should work but mileage may vary.

Also, the NH-D14 works just fine with AM3+ so disregard the above.

"Noctua’s enthusiast grade SecuFirm2™ multi-socket mounting provides broad socket compatibility (LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1150, LGA775, AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2)"

so would you recommend a MOBO (preferably cheaper) that would be able to overclock and work with my other components as the MOBO seems to be the incompatible link in the build

From Newegg description: "Noctua’s enthusiast grade SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting provides broad socket compatibility (LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA775, AM2, AM2+ and AM3) and meets the highest demands in safety, contact pressure and ease-of-use." Nothing about AM3+, but sorry if I am incorrect in that.

I pasted a link directly to Noctua's web site with the products description. I would assume that Newegg has not updated their product description, and that the manufacturer knows better than the re-seller, but Everyone knows what assuming does.

JTec : make sure the fan you order states that it supports the AM3+ on the re-sellers website. They could be selling a last gen fan that does not have the mounting hardware for your motherboard.

The PDF document linked in my original reply has all the certified memory for this board. Take a look and see if you can find one that is in stock. If you are unsure of anything reply to this post and I will get back to you.
