Hello guys!

I'm looking forward of upgrading my graphic card for 3d visualization. i would appreciate a lot if someone can give an idea what graphic card should i go to? probably not the most expensive one, just something that works decent enough for 3d modeling and rendering software.

Thanks a lot!

What are your current specs, most importantly psu? What software do you use? And what renderers?

yeah thanks man! right now I do have a dell optiplex 990, with core i5 2400 @3.10ghz. my PSU, still got the stock installed, 265 watts. I know it's incapable of running a higher graphic card together with higher ram's, cause I have a geforce 210 1GB DD3, the PSU can only run it togther with a 2GB of ram. one I increase the ram cpu would power up but no signal inthe monitor. Im using 3dsmax2012 and vray for rendering.

You'll need to upgrade the psu for anything worthwhile. I forgot 1 question, what is your budget? I'd probably suggest a cx430m and 650ti boost.

yes I'll upgrade my PSU along with the video card, i can only afford upto maximum of $200 for the video card alone. thanks for this suggestion I'll check these models and see if it'll fit my budget (lol)...thanks again man!
