Hey guys,

I'm selling a bunch of my stuff, including my ps3, as I am switching to PC gaming. I will get approx £1000 (probably more) and I really want to build a beast gaming PC, however I am a massive freaking noob at PC building and was wondering if any of you guys could help me?

I will be playing a variety of games including the GTA series, Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, Metro Last Light and a variety of MMOs.

I basically want a tank of a gaming PC that can easily run next-gen games with high graphics with at least a steady 50fps.

I definitely want a modern graphics card (e.g. gtx 770), at least 8gb ram and a decent hard drive (500gb+).

Also, I live in the UK so certain stuff such as newegg isn't particularly good for me.

I basically want the best gaming PC possible for my money.

Thanks! Any help is appreciated.

NB: The £1000 excludes hardware such as a mouse. a screen and a keyboard.

use it as a base for your pc build from the UK i do not suppose it will be hugely different.

Solution
From Aria.co.uk for £750 I have left out a case as its more of a personal choice also windows, keyboard, mouse and monitor are not included as I don't know if you need them but the remaining £250 should get them. If you don't need them I suggest you spend it on a mixture of a SSD and upgrading the graphics card to a GTX770. Not I selected a board you can add a second GTX760 or 770 to later but if you want to getting a 750W+ power supply would be worth it.

I have a budget of £1000 not $1000, so I could possibly upgrade some of these parts.
