help windows 8 desktop screen isnt showing as a tile on start screen!?!
the one before you reach the desktop. the only way I can now is by clicking on an item that is used through the desktop or using task manager! help!

UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED
I used command prompt and did sfc/scannow and it fixed it!

Start + D will give you the desktop as well.

Have you tried just doing a search for "desktop" by just typing it.

I see you have it all solved, That is good.

I was not on Win8 to test(a search for Desktop) at the time.

At least the Start + D should still work(I use that all the time on Win 8, faster for me).
