I am college student in Sydney aus studying 2D and 3D animation.
I need a new desktop PC that is 65% for games and 35% for basic maya modeling (low poly renders) and not so intensive video editing/ render.
This is the rig I really want to get but it's just over $1300 and would be really nice if it was around $1250 just to compensate for Aussie tech parts being stupidly expensive compared to US.

P.s. I would use the computer around about 8-10 hrs a day mostly gaming time.
Also I already have a monitor (24" LCD LED) with keyboard and mouse.
