Hi guys, so i'm having a consistant issue and im not sure where to start to look, Im running:

Crossfire x Formula Z motherboard
AMD 8350 8 core proccessor overclocked to 4600Ghz
AMD 6970
850 Watt PSU
Hybrid SSD/HDD 1TB hard drive

Running windows 8 pro (New hard drive/motherboard)

anyways my issue is this ~~

When i sit down to turn on my computer i'll turn it on, fans will come on, motherboard lights up, hard drive spins, ect.. ect. but it seems like it's only halfway on, Keyboard/mouse wont light up, it wont boot into BIOS or windows 8,
but if i do a 4 second power button reset a time or two it magically turns on loads windows and performs flawlessly, Any suggestions?

hmm. looks like it may be a problem with your PSU loading less power than it should to the system, or simply your motherboard's battery is empty.

I thought it was a PSU problem too, its a corsair with a 80% power rating on it, and i've heard nothing but good things from them.

Make sure all your power cables are plugged in appropriately. Your PSU cables of course!

Had similar issues when a memory chip went bad. Its a case of elimination - try booting with one of the modules at a time & see if there's any improvement.
