Lately, if not forever, when i play Saints Row: The Third and i drive any car, there is a lag in between when i initiate something like boost or rev and when you actually hear it. The usual time from when the sound should be heard and when it is heard is around 10 seconds and can be up to 30 seconds late. Its really annoying; like when i use boost, drift, or even just drive the car, you hear the sounds it should be making like when you're already doing something else. The rest of the game is fine and audio alike, the game does not lag; i usually get around 40+ fps with my SuperClocked GTX 660 gpu. Any help on how to fix this? If you are having the same problem or had the same problem, feel free to let me know and how you fixed it. Thanks!

i did not buy a disk so it cant be because of bad physical media like a disk. I downloaded the game straight to my PC like Steam does

Maybe this might help you. If that doesn't work, please post your settings on Saints Row. You might have to lower a few things to fix the lag. http://forums.steamgames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=31...

didnt get to read that link you gave, but i found out that if you have a youtube video open and paused while playing the game, there is no vehicle sound lag. It really does work, for me atleast, i have no idea why but it does and thats all that maters lol
