Hi, My computer has stopped recognizing my Graphics card stated in the subject line.
I'm running on Windows Vista. It was working before I tried uninstalling the AMD Catalyst manager seeing as I have an ATI card. I realized after half way through that the AMD was the same as the ATI, they are the same company or something, so I cancelled the uninstall but it's still not working even after I have tried reinstalling the Catalyst and uninstalling then reinstalling the program. I'm not someone that knows a lot about computers so if you want more information can you please tell me where or how to find it in your question?

Thank you in advance for any assistance in this matter. Also if there is another thread with the graphics card I'm using being problematic then please let me know as I haven't seen it.

Not as such, I'm using the Installation cd I got.
Also like to add to my original Start to this post, I didn't actually install it when I got it. I got a computer guy to fix my computer and to put it in with a new power source.

How do I do all of that? I've tried installing the latest version of Vista (service Pack 2) but it always fails.
The motherboard drivers I don't know how to update.

which is your motherboard model or manafacturer? i assuming you have a 32 bit version vista

The manufacturer of my Mother board is ECS, the Model is Nettle2. Yes I have the 32 bit vista.

I am downloading the .NET Framework4 at this time.

The Framework is done repairing, I've found my Windows update works again after that, except the update for Explorer 9 still failed but I don't use Explorer so that's ok.
Now just Installing drivers using the Catalyst install manager I downloaded from your link.

Well it's come up with AMD Display DriverFinal Status:
Fail. Again.

Also HDMI Audio DriverFinal Status
Fail.

Lastly just so it's clear, Error messages
Driver Install: the installation failed
Driver Install: the installation failed.

So I don't know what to do.

What do you mean rma? Do you mean return it? I don't have the receipt. Also don't think the guy that got the card and installed it would still have it.
How do you reset the graphics card? I don't think I've tried or done that yet.

I cleaned the pins before I started this post. :(
