So I recently put a second GTX 660 Ti in my PC, and I am not getting acceptable frame rates. I think this is because this CPU is not powerful enough to run these GPU's to their full potential. Both cards are running at dual x16 on an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 Motherboard. What are your thoughts as to how I can fix this?

6100 is not a bad cpu... a pretty decent one if you ask me. you shouldn't experience any major bottlenecking. What frames are we talking about? What I do is the following: Open the game you are playing and task manager before that. If the cpu usage is maxed out then we are probably talking about cpu being inferior and needs replacement if you have the money. if not then something else is wrong

What games are you playing? Are your framerates worse than before? Or is the increase not what you were expecting?

I am getting about 35-40 FPS in Battlefield 3. It is worse than using one card.

If it's worse than before, then you're sitting on a bad/oudated driver, bad/outdated BIOS, bad SLI bridge(not likely this, from my experience), a bad board, or a bad/outdated install of BF3.

My dad's PC runs SLI much better than mine. He has an FX 8150.

If you use the exact same hardware except the CPU then the difference should be minimal. The difference is more on the cores quantity as in the core quality. Something else is wrong if the difference is more than 10%
