hey guys my laptop doesnt recognise the HDD wheen i try to install new OS(windows 7). heres what happens . i boot from a USB and select the language and get to the next screen and select install windows. after the installation method screen(custom or upgrade)(in this case i selected custom) when it cmes to selecting the installation drive it shows message "No drives were found ,click here to load device drive contollers". I use emachines e730 laptop with a hitachi HDD. i use a 32 bit system.

the BIOS shows booting options,hard drive,dvdcdr and usb.etc when i boot up the system i can see the hard drive light indicator lighting up for few minutes and then it just goes blank..when i run chkdsk in cmd on windows diagnostic utilities.it only shows disk 0 - which is the USB am booting from and doesnt show HDD.
